Pursuant to 16 USC § 551 and 36 CFR § 261.50%3Aa%3A and %3Ab%3A, and to provide for public safety and protect natural resources, the following acts are prohibited within the Rogue River-Siskiyou National Forest. This Order will be effective at 00:01am July 12th, 2024, through November 30, 2024, unless rescinded sooner.

%3Ali%3A1. Igniting, building, maintaining, attending, or using a fire with solid fuels such as wood stoves, charcoal, pellet grills, smudge pots, and briquettes anywhere within the Rogue River-Siskiyou National Forest except: [36 CFR § 261.52%3Aa%3A]

%3Ali%3Aa. When using commercial stoves fired by liquid fuel or propane are permitted.%3A/li%3A

%3Ali%3A2. Using an explosive. [36 CFR § 261.52%3Ab%3A]%3A/li%3A
%3Ali%3A3. Possessing, discharging, or using any kind of firework or other pyrotechnic device. [36 CFR § 261.52%3Af%3A]%3A/li%3A
%3Ali%3A4. Welding or operating an acetylene or other torch with open flame. [36 CFR § 261.52%3Ai%3A]%3A/li%3A

%3Ali%3Ab. Aboard watercraft while navigating or at rest on a waterway.%3A/li%3A
%3Ali%3Ac. Generators with approved spark arrestors, in designated recreation sites, in a cleared area at least five feet from any flammable material.%3A/li%3A
%3Ali%3Ad. Roads and trails identified in the Rogue River-Siskiyou National Forest Motor Vehicle Use Map and Prospect OHV Trail/Road System Map.%3A/li%3A
